A year

I have sat in front of my computer for the longest time trying to think of the right words.....I am not sure there really are 'right words.' One year....one year of missing you....one year of wanting to share things.....one year. We love and miss you Dad/Poppy.

Casey and Erick's Wedding

Happy Easter from the Hartmans!

Saturday morning we all gathered around the kitchen talble to dye eggs. Am I the only one who noticed how many colors PAAS now come in? I think we had 12 different colors. A long way from the 4-6 of years past. Saturday was also Paulie's 2nd birthday. Trust me, no one is more suprised than me that he is still around. And YES>>>I baked him a cake. And YES>>>we all sang happy birthday to him. Unfortunately for Paulie, he only got a tiny nibble of the icing, but Chris got him a doggie sausage to eat while we all enjoyed his cake.

Avery was the first kid up on Easter morning. Way too early....about 7. We made her wait until 7:30 to wake up the others. Here is the gang opening their presents and going threw their baskets before they searched for eggs.

It was off to visit the Hartmans! Below are the youngest grandkids and the great-grandkids playing Easter games for prizes!!!

After lunch with the Hartmans it was off to the Christiansens for dinner. After our fabulous dinner we all sang Happy Birthday to Chesley who will be turning 17 on Tuesday!

Well, that's it...another holiday spent with the people who mean the most to us!

What a weekend!

Our Saturday started out with an Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Baers. Unfortunately my camera needed batteries. Jill already has great pics on her blog. Kami started off the hunt with tears, but after she warmed up she had a blast with her cousins. After the Easter Egg hunt I headed to CVS for batteries then to Color Me Mine with Avery for Amberly's 8th birthday party. Here are the wonder twins at Amberly's birthday party.

Because our day wasn't full enough, it also happened to be the Junior Prom. Here is Chelsey and her boyfriend looking gorgeous.

After Chelsey left for the prom, we all ordered pizza and finally relaxed.

Our Sunday was not quite as busy, Madi had a softball game. Here she is playing first base.

She also got to be the catcher one inning. She played a great game, she hit a single, had an RBI, and scored a run.

When we got home, Madi took Noelle for a walk. Yes, that is the bunny on a leash.

Finally, Chris and Kami mowed the lawn.
