Snowed In!!!! Blizzard 2010

Above my beloved park bench...and it is only 3pm.....snow showing no signs of stopping!
Below is Madi and Tyler hanging out front. You can't even distinguish were the street is.

Here is our POPPY tree. Started as a seedling on Taylor Ave and replanted here when we moved in 11 years ago. It looks so beautiful, but I hope no damage is done.

Avery and Kami headed out back for some play time. It is such a fun snow to play in, they were out for at least 2 hours.



While the little girls were outside, I made cookies with the big girls. Here is Kami trying to warm up after being outside for so long...eating a cookie. Her cheeks were soooo red!

Snow Pics Part II

On Sunday we took the kids to Kid's Castle to sled. It was a perfect winter day. The sun was out, the air was warm, and the sledding was awesome.







Back at home, Baby loved running around in the deep snow, only problem, it took us about an hour to dry off all of the snow balls stuck to her fur.

Just a few shots of the dogs playing in the snow and Chris snow blowing the driveway. Meadow loves the deep snow. Baby...not so much. It's a little too deep for her.
We measured 11 inches at 10am and it is still snowing.

Oh My!

A few weeks ago the water/ice line of our fridge started leaking out onto our floor. We knew it was time to replace our old fridge. After 3 stores, we decided on the french door. The sales person told us that the french door is a very large capacity fridge, good for large families. I really didn't think it looked that that big in the store until Kami went looking for something to eat!

We Are....Penn State!!!!!

A HUGE Congrats to our God Daughter, Chelsey, who has been accepted to Penn State-Main! Chelsey will be starting her freshman year in September as a Behavior Health Science/Pre Med Major! We are SOOOOO proud of her. Congrats Chelsey, we love you so much! Her God daughter, Kamryn, plans to be a Penn State Cheerleader for Halloween this October!

Girls Weekend!

Chris and CJ are at a weekend retreat with our church. This leaves me home with all my girls. Kylie went home with a friend after school today. That left me with just my 3 youngest kids. The girls wanted to go out to dinner, so off to Friendly's we went for chicken fingers and sundaes! Avery finished her Monster Mash Sundae and was hoping for a spoonful of Madi's make your own.
Kami chose the Cone Head Sundae. She ordered it with chocolate ice cream. YUKO!!! I think my kids purposely order chocolate ice cream because they all know that it is the ONLY ice cream flavor I wont eat.

Tuesday was Madi's 1st time as a cheerleader! She had a blast and looked so damn cute!
